First Day in Singapore!

We had a relaxing first day in Singapore, recovering from jet lag. We attended the Teh's church this morning and enjoyed being a part of the service. We stayed afterwards for lunch with the church families.

This afternoon we spent several hours at a park and got a taste of Singapore's heat and humidity! The park was near the river front and overlooked both the Singapore skyline and the port.


At dinner this evening, the team proved themselves adventurous in the buffet line! They tried lots of new foods, including raw oyster and salmon, squid, durian, octopus, duck, sushi, and other seafood and Asian dishes.

Tomorrow morning we fly to Kuala Lumpur. Thank you for your prayers for continued health and strength. Our next update, Lord-willing, will be from Malaysia!

We're Here!!!

God is so good - He has given all of us traveling safety and the whole team has arrived in Singapore! We landed here around 2 am this morning local time (Sunday morning), so everyone is resting now for the night. Thank you so much for your prayers - more to come in a few days!!!

Just One More Week...

...and we will be off to Singapore! We would greatly appreciate your prayers as we travel and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Before we left, I wanted to give everyone a list of the students that will be traveling to Southeast Asia.
